I will soon be entering a cloistered Dominican monastery in Avrille, France. I love Fra Angelico, Jan Dismas Zelenka, Monteverdi and Gabrieli. My favourite era of English literature is 17th Century. But the best author of all time is St. Thomas, followed by Garrigou-Lagrange, his faithful disciple.

Dear people who actually read my journals! (Probably no one)
I only have a week left before I am off forever to the cloister! So I want to take a lot of cute little pictures of stuff...I wish I could get out to different sights, but I am so sick with this miserable cold and I can only find little objects around the house and such...and tea...
But is there any requests of subject matters for my photography? Maybe I should urbex my basement. There are some crazy scary things down there...

For those of you interested in the fate of the buildings of which I have taken tons of pictures, I have jolly good news! It turns out the University of Milwaukee will not sell them to the Mandel Corporation and that they will spend $21 million to renovate them, NOT destroy them! :)
Unfortunately, they want to build an industrial park right next to them, which means they have to cut down a line of 200 year old oaks.
However, the Milwaukee School of Agriculture aka the Eschweiler Buildings will ALL be saved.
